Our Story

In winter 2008, Liam Kennedy received a Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis at age 33, shocking his close circle of friends and family. Recognizing Liam's lifelong commitment to supporting others, they resolved to reciprocate that dedication by helping him and the broader MS community.

That inaugural year, Liam and 15 companions participated in Bike MS Cape Cod Getaway, cycling 150 miles from Boston to Provincetown over two days. Despite their modest fitness level, the group ranked among the top 7 fundraising teams—remarkable for their small size.

From those humble beginnings, Liam's Lucky Charms has grown to over 180 riders and raised more than $4,000,000 toward MS research and support services.

Bike MS: Cape Cod Getaway

Our signature event: a 150-mile, 2-day ride from Boston Harbor to Provincetown. Fully supported with SAG vehicles, meals, and the camaraderie that has defined our team for 17 years.
